İstanbul Bilgi University operates residential halls for men and women located at the mouth of Golden Horn in the heart of the city, offering a variety of room choices: two, four and six person bedrooms. The dormitory is equipped with kitchenettes, laundry facilities, a TV room, and computer and study rooms. Daily room cleaning and simple breakfast are also provided. Room charges for the year 2008-09 are as follows.

Room for 2 persons: 1750 € / per person/ 1 semester
Room for 4 persons: 1100 € / per person/ 1 semester
Room for 6 persons: 900 € / per person/ 1 semester
Terms and conditions:
1- International Erasmus and bilateral exchange students must apply to the International Office in order to make a Residence Hall reservation as part of their online application, indicating their preferences for room type. Applicants will be assigned a room based on availability.
2- International degree, transfer and special students wishing to reserve a room in the Residence Hall should contact the Student Affairs Office (int.students@bilgi.edu.tr) Applicants will be assigned a room based on availability.
3- Students can check in at the Residence Hall at the earliest one week before the registration week of the relevant semester. Students must check out of the Residence Hall at the latest one week after the end of the final exam period.
4- During registration, international students pay the full semester’s or year’s room charge at once. If you decide to leave the Residence Hall early, before the end of the semester, you will not get any money back. Students can make their payments with cash, credit card, or bank transfer.
5- Students must abide by Residence Hall rules and regulations for the use of common spaces.
6- Students may only have guests with the permission of the Residence Hall administration, but such guests are not permitted to stay overnight.
7- It is strictly forbidden to have in one's possession or use alcohol or any illegal substances on Residence Hall premises.
Cost of living:
Estimated living expenses for international students, excluding accommodation, are around 300-400 euros per month depending on the student's lifestyle. Books and administrative fees are approximately 100-150 euros per semester.
