Student Job Program
On-campus student employment is available for international students. Students have the choice of working in one of many departments, working closely with faculty members and administrators on various projects or services for the university community. Current positions include working as an administrative aide or assisting in the library, computer labs, student dormitories, music or TV studios, student affairs, the research center, faculty offices, or in university administration offices.
All available employment positions are posted on the ‘Job Board' outside the Student Affairs Office and on “Free Zone” bulletin boards throughout the university. Student job positions are open to all BİLGİ students on an equal-opportunity basis. Students may apply for any positions that accord with their class schedule and must interview for the position with the department supervisor. Students should be aware that many jobs have requisite skills (e.g. computer word processing, artistic ability, bilingual English-Turkish proficiency, etc.). Most jobs provide training for new employees. Skills acquired and used during the time of employment can be impressive additions to any job résumé for post-university employment. For further information on job announcements or the application process, please consult the Student Affairs Office.
